Snowed In

I am quite happy that the winter on the East Coast of the States has been pretty mild this year. The images of Romania's 15 feet of snow had me thinking back to Snowmaggedon of 2010 where we were dumped with 50+ inches in a handful of days. Those memories were not good ones! It did get me to wondering if I had to get snowed in who would I want to get snowed in with?



Top Ten for My Birthday

Today is my birthday so I decided I would create my Top Ten Most Beautiful (in no particular order).



Lee Sang Woo

Lee Sang Woo is a South Korean actor. He has acted in television dramas and movies. Thanks to my favorite Netflix, I have seen his films "Almost Love" where he plays the sweetest boyfriend who gives up his girl so that she can be with her best friend and "Searching for the White Elephant" where he plays a bad friend who cheats with his friend's wife. I liked him in both. I also liked him in the drama "A Thousand Days' Promise". His new drama "Feast of the Gods" just started airing.

What stands out the most about Sang Woo is his beautiful and infectious smile. That smile of his can bring out the sun in any gloomy situation (I think I need to make him my wallpaper at work). It also doesn't hurt that his birthday is three days after mine. It's coming up on February 13th. Happy early birthday Sang Woo!! I hope that you receive everything that your heart desires and keep on smiling!!

Steven Strait

I came across the supernatural movie The Covenant a few nights ago and rediscovered the beautiful Steven Strait. This 25 year old actor/model played the dreamy Caleb a Warlock who was a descendant of a Coven of Witches. The movie wasn't a critical success but everyone in the movie was beautiful. None more that Steven. 

I can't help but think would a good Jacob he would have been in the Twilight movie series. I mean his look screams Jacob. All I know it that Bella would have been all over him!! Edward who?

Haruma Miura

Haruma Miura is a popular Japanese singer / actor. This 21 year old reminds me of a Anime character. He's so pretty.

 

Bruce Lee

A new documentary about Bruce is coming out in the US on February 9th. Thirty-nine years after his death this fighter, actor, philosopher, writer and martial arts creator still captivates many throughout the world and still inspires and motivates.

Bruce accomplished more in his 32 short years on this earth than most do in a long lifetime. Although Bruce starred in less than a handful of martial arts films he increase the popularity of martial arts and martial arts films worldwide. Bruce created the martial art Jeet Kune Do and was a prolific writer of combat and martial arts and motivation. Masanobu Ando

Masanobu is a Japanese actor and director. He starred in one of my favorite films, Battle Royale. He is known for playing a large assortment of characters. He reminds of Johnny Depp in that respect. Picking roles or characters that he is passionate about and totally not worried about his looks. Even though it is obvious that he is beautiful!! The quirkiness just makes him even more adorable.

Aarif Lee

This 24 year old singer/actor hails from Hong Kong. Aarif bursted on the scene in 2009 as a cantopop singer and quickly made his way to acting in films. He starred as Bruce Lee in the 2010 film Bruce Lee, My Brother. The future is looking bright for Mr. Lee.

Lee Hom Wang

I just discovered this singer/actor when I recently viewed the 2007 film Lust, Caution. This American born 35 year old is also a songwriter, musician, record producer, music arranger, composer and film director. He got his start as a musician and was offered his first record contract at age 19 when he visited his grandparents in Taiwan. He started his acting career in 2000 but his breakthrough was the 2007 film Lust, Caution. He directed his first film in 2010.

I am definitely going to check out some of his later work and I am looking forward to hearing and seeing him in the future.

Kim Hyun Joong

I am still crazy about KHJ. How could you not after seeing Boys over Flowers. He's currently breaking hearts in Japan and China. I hear he will be doing another drama this year. Supposedly he wants to play a Bad Boy. I can't wait!!
